The song "Dango 3 Kyodai" (Three Dango Brothers) comes to mind. While ink quartz with inclusions might sometimes have similar pieces if you search hard enough, this skewer dango is impossible. Absolutely impossible. You might think only the middle one has been eaten, but it's actually set deeper, so from the front, you only see the narrow part. This creates an atmosphere as if it's being rapidly pulled out and appears blurred... Who is this culprit trying to steal a bite? This time, I really wanted the stone to be the main focus, so the design is a simple silhouette. But just simple wouldn't be interesting, so I added carving to the stone setting and texture to the bail. And to add a subtle touch of detail, the stone setting is K10, and the bail is SV925, creating a two-tone effect. Brilliantly sparkling gemstones might certainly be more beautiful. However, I can't help but feel that the unique charm of this skewer dango, and its status as a true one-of-a-kind piece, elevate this pendant from a product to a work of art.
