There, we serendipitously discovered the Italian stationery brand Rubinato s.r.l and the handmade leather notebook maker Manufactus. We became friends, initiating a collaboration that continues to this day. Rubinato s.r.l offers more than just ordinary stationery; their ink dip pens and other unique items are infused with their passion for artistic creation, consistently introducing products that blend innovative and classical aesthetics. Manufactus, on the other hand, crafts handmade vegetable-tanned leather notebooks. The covers are dyed using natural herbal pigments, with each color being unique due to the purely handmade process. The cotton paper is crafted following ancient methods in the centuries-old, historically renowned town of Amalfi – a deckle-edged paper ideal for writing and drawing. Manufactus products have been showcased at international exhibitions in Paris, New York, and Frankfurt, symbolizing the revival and reemergence of the classical handmade journal series.
