This mechanical necklace is inspired by a planetary gear mechanism, featuring a multitude of tiny gears that spin in synchronized motion. Please see the video for a demonstration of how it moves. https://youtu.be/o8eW-__ANfU?si=0BXPlJS1aO3rEA6g ▼ Product Description ▼ This unique accessory recreates a structure similar to actual planetary gears, where the outer gear lacks a rotation axis and is instead supported by planetary gears. It is a kinetic necklace you can turn by hand to enjoy the mechanism. This version has evolved into a 'dual-stage' structure, incorporating a mechanism where 'turning the outer ring clockwise causes the internal planetary gears to rotate counter-clockwise.' Each part is CNC-machined from duralumin—a high-strength, ultra-lightweight material also used in aircraft—then hand-polished and assembled with absolute precision. With its beautiful skeletonized design and meticulous attention to color-accented parts, this is a completely original creation unlike any other. The overwhelming presence of its complex mechanical beauty offers a sense of ownership that enthusiasts of mechanics and gadgets will find irresistible. Its substantial yet stylish design suits both men and women. It is perfect for yourself, or as a gift for someone special. ~Made with skin-friendly materials~ We carefully select metals that are gentle on the skin for our creations. The necklace chain uses SUS316L, known as 'medical-grade stainless steel,' which is less likely to cause metal allergies. 【Size】 Width approx. 4cm, weight approx. 13g 【Materials】 Duralumin, brass, rhinestones 【Fastener】 Necklace chain - SUS316L 70cm ▼ Materials Used ▼ We are a handcrafted shop specializing in the use of a unique metal called duralumin. Enjoy our accessories and goods made from duralumin, a light, strong, and tarnish-resistant metal that we were among the first in the world to utilize as a primary material. Should the luster fade, please contact us for a complimentary re-polishing service. (Shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.) ▼ Regarding Metal Allergies ▼ Duralumin is a metal that does not contain mercury, nickel, or cobalt, which are the primary causes of metal allergies. While it is a material designed for peace of mind, it does not guarantee the prevention of all allergic reactions. If you experience any discomfort due to your physical condition, please refrain from using it. ※Each piece is handcrafted one by one after payment is confirmed.
