To prevent dark water stains if the leather gets wet: use a pure water wet wipe, or a damp (not dripping) tissue or paper towel to evenly wipe the entire leather surface, including the wet spot. Dry with a cool air setting. If only hot air is available, maintain a distance of at least thirty centimeters from the leather. After drying, evenly apply leather oil for care. 3. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 4. In addition to the natural warmth and oils from your hands gradually imparting a mellow luster and sheen to the leather, we recommend regularly wiping it with a dry cloth and then applying leather oil for maintenance. 5. Mildew spots on leather develop over time from the interaction of dust and ambient humidity. Therefore, if you are storing leather goods for an extended period, first wipe off any dust with a dry cloth, then wrap the item in a dust bag, kraft paper, or cotton cloth (you can cut up an old white cotton t-shirt) and store it in a well-ventilated area. Frequent handling of the leather goods can also help reduce the chance of mold by preventing dust and moisture accumulation, similar to the principle of "a rolling stone gathers no moss." 6.
