Initially, the focus was on men's jewelry, such as collar clasps, cufflinks, and buttons. In 1920, the company began producing women's jewelry, and necklaces, brooches, and other types of women's adornments quickly gained popularity. By the 1930s, Krementz was selling its products internationally. In 1886, they transitioned to using gold overlay (gold filled) techniques to create jewelry with a higher level of quality from a thin layer of gold plating. The gold plating used by Krementz jewelers was 30 times thicker than that commonly used in the manufacturing of high-end jewelry brands. The aim was to create pieces with a different value proposition between fine jewelry and precious jewelry. Furthermore, Krementz created pieces during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras, periods that produced many outstanding examples of jewelry. Their excellent condition serves as a testament to their superior quality, making Krementz pieces highly valuable to collectors. Krementz continued to produce gold-filled jewelry until 1980. Subsequently, the company's new owner, Richard Krements, began producing jewelry using high-quality 18-karat gold and platinum with inlays, notably featuring unusual gemstones like tanzanite and tourmaline, as well as more familiar emeralds and sapphires. Today, the company's creations are highly prized and continue to be produced under the name "Krementz Jewelry."
