Therefore, we preserve the original state of each piece of leather, cherishing and respecting the unique textures and patterns on the surface of every cowhide. Scars and marks from bumps, injuries, or bites during the cow's growth are unavoidable. We see these as distinctive features, much like our own unique life journeys. We retain the complete, raw, and rugged edges of the leather. Using every leftover scrap, we hand-stitch each unique handmade book, sharing it with all of you who also enjoy documenting life's moments. The English logo sewn onto the bag is also made from leather scraps and embossed, so each one is unique.* ◆ Notes ◆ ◎ We use original ecological top-grain cowhide. ◎ The color, texture, and creases of each piece of leather, and even within a single piece, will differ. This natural variation is what Free&Non chooses to embrace. ◎ Scars and shedding on the fibrous inner surface of genuine leather are natural phenomena, and we do not apply any further processing. ◎ The first and last pages of the inner paper may exhibit slight discoloration due to contact with the leather, which is normal. ◎ The products are entirely hand-stitched, and the paper is cut one sheet at a time with a craft knife.
