To measure the holding power, we attached a whiteboard vertically in a draft-free indoor environment and counted how many sheets of mini system notebook paper it could hold for over 30 minutes. • Button magnet (3cm diameter): 20 sheets • One-strap shoe (single): 16 sheets • One-strap shoes (pair): 18 sheets While not quite reaching the strength of a standard button magnet, we believe the magnetic force is more than sufficient for use in offices or at home. [About Tochigi Leather] This leather retains the natural marks of its life, such as pores and bloodlines, and carries a faint, pleasant aroma when brought close to the nose. "Tochigi Leather," which showcases the natural charm of cowhide, is tanned from "raw hide" to "leather" by Tochigi Leather Co., Ltd. (Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture). It is a vegetable-tanned, unfinished leather using tannins extracted from mimosa tree bark, without the use of harmful chemicals. This premium cowhide undergoes a meticulous 20-step tanning process passed down since the company's founding in 1937. "Tochigi Leather," celebrated for its inherent texture, is highly regarded not only domestically but also by leading international apparel manufacturers. [The Mark of Tochigi Leather: The Red Tag] The red tag is exclusively permitted for use on creations made from 100% "Tochigi Leather." At "Your Side Door," we attach the "red tag," the mark of "Tochigi Leather," to creations priced at 3,000 yen or more. However, please note that all our works are crafted using "Tochigi Leather." As an entity located in the same prefecture, we proudly create 100% "Tochigi Leather" pieces.
