[Fair Trade, Ethical Product] A hand-woven dress featuring an impressive ikat pattern. The dyeing and weaving were carried out by Karen ethnic women living in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Currently, the technique of ikat dyeing is becoming increasingly rare, even more so than weaving techniques, making it a very precious form of handcraft. This garment has a relaxed silhouette, making it exceptionally comfortable to wear. Slits have been added to the hem to ensure ease of movement. With its moderate thickness, it can be worn loosely on its own, or layered with tank tops, long-sleeved shirts, or pants for year-round styling. The garment features a pullover style with V-necks on both the front and back, creating a neat and elegant look from behind. The gray color is dyed with eucalyptus leaves, and the brown color in the ikat-dyed section uses fermented ebony fruit. [Care for Plant-Dyed and Hand-Woven Products] Plant-dyed products are less resistant to washing and sunlight compared to chemical dyes, and their colors will change with use. Please pay attention to the following points during care and use. Color transfer or fading may occur due to friction or moisture. Please be careful of color transfer when wearing or using light-colored clothing or bags. Using dark-colored clothing or bags may make color transfer less noticeable. Darker colors are particularly prone to fading, so we recommend washing them once before wearing. We recommend hand washing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a mild detergent, place the item in a net, and wash on a gentle cycle separately from other clothes. However, machine washing may cause fabric damage and accelerate color fading. Avoid using a dryer and dry in the shade. - About starching. For fabric products, threads may be starched using rice.
