Eluanbi: 3952 Old Goat - Named after a famous Taiwanese landmark, this is a classic, elegant writing instrument. Italian briar wood, typically used for pipe making, is specially selected from the burl section by Old Goat. It possesses a lustrous sheen similar to the wood grain trim in luxury cars. Briar wood naturally contains unavoidable "black spots," and as the burl is used, these are present to varying degrees in each piece. The intricate and beautiful patterns from the burl are achieved through numerous layers of paint, sanding, and polishing, resulting in a substantial, tactile feel. Under the high-definition, high-gloss transparent lacquer, the texture is further enhanced. The high-definition, high-gloss finish is easy to maintain, resistant to ink stains and hand sweat, and makes the wood grain appear more three-dimensional. While many on the market simply polish or wax raw wood, such meticulous finishing is exceptionally rare. (Briar wood has unique black spots and natural grain; quality pieces are shipped randomly.) The pen features an airtight cap with flame-pattern engraving, grey chrome plating and fittings, and a spring-loaded clip. The cap top is engraved with the 3952 Yushan LOGO.
