Washi paper tape is opaque. 3/ PET tapes feature white ink, which makes them less see-through compared to washi paper tapes. 4/ PET tapes offer some water resistance, whereas washi paper tapes are not waterproof. 5/ The "heavy oil" finish on PET tapes generally appears brighter, while the same finish on washi paper tapes offers a more layered texture.
