2021 Taoyuan International Art Award

The "Taoyuan International Art Award," adopting a biennial format with an international call for entries across all artistic disciplines, has assembled an international jury of scholars, critics, and creators to meticulously select artists from Taiwan and abroad for exhibition in Taoyuan. The inaugural "Taoyuan International Art Award" recognized 17 finalist works, with creators hailing from 9 countries including Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Bangladesh, the United States, Portugal, Latvia, and Greece. The artworks span diverse artistic practices, encompassing painting, sculptural installation, photography, and video.
