But after growing up and moving into this small house, I discovered the sound of raindrops tapping on the high ceiling was surprisingly gentle. Without walls to confine it, the high ceiling creates a sense of open space. In my home, in my studio, the sound of rain on the roof intertwines with the beautiful notes of Bach, echoing softly in the high ceilings. In the room, still dim even during the day, the soft sound of rain, the tranquil music, are accompanied by the glow of a small lamp. Though my house is in a residential area, its location on a slight rise, and its unique terrain, evoke a peculiar sense of openness. Amidst the gentle patter of the rain, there’s a strange feeling of being utterly alone, and rainy moments allow me to focus inward. After growing up, I gradually began to notice the many simple beauties I had overlooked as a child. August's new releases, both washi tapes are exceptionally gentle, and unbelievably beautiful.
