This is the first firing of the green body, which is called biscuit firing. After the biscuit firing is completed, it is the stage of glazing. The glaze is made up of various mineral powders, attached to the green body and then entered into the kiln for a second firing, which is called glaze firing, and the temperature will reach 1230 degrees. The glaze becomes a molten state at a high temperature. After firing, it is roughly divided into a matte or bright surface according to the composition of the glaze, which wraps the body tightly and evenly. If the work uses gold water, it is painted after the glaze is fired, and then painted on the ceramic surface with a fine brush pen dipped in gold water, and then fired at 700 degrees in the kiln.
