Combined with witty and humorous auspicious phrases, it could create a richer, more layered, and entirely new feeling for the New Year. Each couplet has a customizable space on the bottom base. You can use your brush to write auspicious phrases or messages for your family. Commonly, people write their family name, like the "Chen Family" or "Qiu Residence," or even a shop name.
