Nestled near the Himalayas, the unique frigid climate of Kashmir gave rise to boiled wool, a refined craft developed by utilizing the region's natural environment. Due to the high altitude, water boils at a lower temperature. In the crisp morning air, as the sun begins to rise, wool products are steeped in melted high-mountain snow water before being brought to a boil. As dusk approaches and the sun sets, the woolens are then sun-dried under the moonlight. This intricate process not only removes impurities but also causes the wool to shrink, tightening the fibers. Finally, women meticulously hand-weave and embroider each piece, resulting in textiles of unique colors and embroidery styles.
The rhythmic clatter of the shuttle and wooden slats during weaving evokes a simple, tranquil sense, a testament to traditional Himalayan craftsmanship.
The understated warmth of the hand-feel, coupled with premium, fine wool that doesn't irritate the skin, makes it a wonderfully soft and insulating choice.
Three-dimensional hand embroidery graces each piece with unique colors, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail.

Material:
100% Himalayan Kashmir Wool
Dimensions:
70 x 180 cm
(Measurements are taken horizontally by hand. Due to variations in individual measuring methods and positions, as well as fabric elasticity and starting points, there may be slight discrepancies with the actual dimensions. An error margin of ±3cm is considered within the acceptable international inspection standard.)
Recommended Cleaning Method:
1. In a basin, dissolve an appropriate amount of laundry powder in slightly warm water. Gently place the scarf flat in the basin and press it repeatedly with open hands about twenty to thirty times, allowing the cleaning solution to permeate the fiber gaps. This prevents the fibers from tangling.
2. Rinse using the same method until the scarf is clean.
3. Gently wring out the scarf. Lay the scarf flat on a towel or drying rack in a shaded area to air dry naturally. Exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause wool to yellow.
