Each session is 3 hours, including time for a break with tea and cleaning up tools.
Feel free to choose any time slot within the above hours, for example, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

We believe everyone possesses creativity; it simply requires a willingness to slow down and listen to your inner voice. At Mieko’s Pottery Atelier, our aim is not to teach a specific technique or replicate a piece made by the instructor. Instead, we hope you’ll connect with your surroundings and, through imagination, create something that uniquely expresses your personal aesthetic.

**[ COURSE CONTENT ]**
Three Hand-building Techniques • Multiple Themes
- Coil Building (e.g., cups/bowls)
- Slab Building (e.g., plates/covered boxes/mugs)
- Pinch Pot Method (e.g., vases/bowls)
✔️ Choose one theme and one technique to create your piece. We focus on small to medium-sized vessels, and you can expect to complete at least one item per session.
✔️ For the 1-session experience, glazing is limited to a single color, applied by the studio.
✔️ For multiple color choices and self-glazing, please register for the [2-SESSION EXPERIENCE] or [4-SESSION EXPERIENCE].
✔️ Participants in the 2-SESSION EXPERIENCE will need to attend two separate classes. After the first session, your piece will undergo bisque firing for approximately 1-4 weeks. We will then notify you to schedule your glazing session.
▫️ If you have other ideas beyond these themes, feel free to discuss them with the instructor.

**[ NOTES ]**
*The fee includes instruction, glaze materials, clay, and tool usage.
*Kiln firing fees are calculated separately based on the size of each piece.
*There is no limit to the number of pieces you can create within the class time.
*Firing typically takes 2-4 weeks. We will notify you when your work is ready for pickup.

1. Please trim your fingernails before class for a more comfortable pottery experience.
2. Due to the inherent variables in pottery creation and firing, outcomes such as cracks, explosions, or glaze drips may occur. We are unable to offer refunds for damage not caused by human error. Your understanding is appreciated.
3. Upon completion, studio photos of your work may be shared on our fan page. Please inform us in advance if you wish to opt out of this.
4. If you require shipping of your work, an additional delivery fee will apply. We use home delivery services, and the studio cannot assume responsibility for damage to fragile items during transit.
5. If you need to reschedule or are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify us in advance. Class fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
