Offers a writing experience remarkably similar to a fountain pen, gliding smoothly with excellent ink adhesion. (The writing sample in the photo was achieved with a new nib and a single dip of ink.) Suitable for general Chinese and English writing. Lacks significant flexibility, not recommended for English calligraphy. Due to the nib's smaller size, ensure it is securely fitted during installation. Writing sample used: Double A 80g copy paper, Staedtler green ink. A single dip with a new, untested nib completed all the strokes shown in the photograph. (A rare vintage item, not a modern reproduction. While supplies last.) Key Usage Notes: 1. No pre-firing or scrubbing with a toothbrush is required before use. If any finger oils are present, a mild detergent (like hand soap) is recommended for cleaning. 2. Some nibs may have original factory marks (horizontal or vertical scratches) on the feed area. These were made at the factory to ensure immediate usability upon purchase and are not defects. 3. If oil contamination affects ink adhesion or flow (e.g., from touching with hands or wax on paper), a simple wash with soap, followed by drying, will restore performance. 4. Clean and dry the nib promptly after use. Allow it to air dry completely before storing to prevent rust. 5. Minor corrosion on the pen body will not affect writing. However, corrosion on the nib itself will impact its performance. 6. As a vintage item over 50 years old, some signs of age are inevitable.
