While jade exists in Japan, its mining is currently prohibited, so most of what's available today is sourced internationally.
This particular jadeite possesses a soft green, distinct from the greens found in nephrite from regions like Russia. It's a beautiful, high-grade piece from Myanmar.
While there's a slight variation in color, with a touch of deeper green concentrated towards the center, each bead has been meticulously hand-knotted with Griffin cord to create this elegant choker.
