[QuShuiChen Handmade] Blue Kyanite Crystal Sterling Silver Necklace

Blue Kyanite Crystal Pendant, crafted with 999 and 925 sterling silver. The pendant measures 40x30mm (Length x Width). It is paired with a 925 sterling silver patterned chain, with a total length of 55cm. This piece was a particularly enjoyable creation. The bezel setting was initially shaped according to my vision, but it was originally intended for a different stone. When the prong setting for the main stone was almost complete, ready for soldering, I unexpectedly thought of this small raw specimen. Upon comparing its shape to the center of the base, I was astonished by how perfectly they aligned. Thus, at the last moment, the main stone was changed. Naturally, the setting method was adjusted accordingly, allowing this small raw specimen of blue kyanite crystal to achieve a form that felt both spontaneous and perfectly natural. The main stone itself retains the form of a small crystal cluster. The blue hue is concentrated at the base, emitting a soft, pale blue. This piece was originally part of my personal collection and was not initially planned for jewelry creation; its transformation truly felt like an unexpected serendipity. The accompanying chain is also a substantial patterned chain. Although its total length is 55cm, each link is adjustable, allowing for any length under 55cm. This means it can be worn below the collarbone, as a choker, or even styled as a three-strand bracelet if you find a suitable length and don't mind the weight. It offers great flexibility for styling. ❖ Product photos are mostly taken in natural daylight. Dimensions are Length x Width (x Thickness). ❖ Metalwork sterling silver pieces do not come with a chain by default. Besides commercially available silver chains, we also recommend pairing sterling silver pieces with a patina (antiqued) finish with stainless steel chains for a harmonious color tone. ❖ During the wire wrapping process, slight marks from gripping or cutting the wire may occur due to hand pressure. These generally do not affect the wearability of the piece. ❖ "Artistic Copper Wire" indicates craft wire consisting of a copper core with plating and a protective layer. "Red Copper Wire" and "Yellow Copper Wire" refer to bare copper wire (without plating). Silver wire will be specified as 925 or 999 sterling silver. ❖ Natural stones may inherently have characteristics such as clouds, patterns, inclusions, or minor chips. There may also be small imperfections from drilling or polishing. ❖ Shipping defaults to simple packaging, including protective cushioning and a shipping bag, along with a sealed pouch for storage. 【Artistic Copper Wire Wrapped Jewelry】 ❖ Artistic copper wire is a specialized craft wire composed of a pure copper core with plating and a protective layer. With normal use and care, its color can remain stable for several years. ❖ Because the surface has plating and a protective layer, please avoid using silver polishing cloths and toothpaste for cleaning, as this will rapidly wear down the plating. ❖ After wearing, please wipe away any moisture (especially sweat) with a soft cloth and store it in the provided sealed pouch. ❖ Please try to avoid wearing this jewelry during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, and when visiting hot springs. This can accelerate wire wear and potentially damage the natural stones. 【Unplated Copper Wire / Silver Wire Wrapped Jewelry / Metalwork Sterling Silver Jewelry】 ❖ Red copper wire, yellow copper wire, and silver wire are all unplated wires. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon (they will gradually turn into a bronze/antique silver color). The color change and rate of oxidation will vary depending on wear and individual body chemistry, which is also part of the unique character of bare copper wire jewelry. In terms of oxidation speed, red copper wire tends to oxidize faster for most people (turning into an antique reddish-brown color within days to weeks), while yellow copper and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Wire that has undergone a patination (antiquing) process generally has a more stable color tone compared to unplated wire. However, polished areas will still gradually oxidize naturally. ❖ If you wish to clean oxidized areas, you can generally use a silver polishing cloth or gently scrub with toothpaste, then dry with a cloth or a cool setting on a hairdryer. ❖ After wearing, wipe away any moisture with a soft cloth and store in the provided sealed pouch. ❖ Please try to avoid wearing this jewelry during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, and when visiting hot springs. This can accelerate wire oxidation and potentially damage the natural stones. ❖ Unplated wire pieces can be sent back for re-polishing at a later date (only return shipping fees will apply). 【Natural Stones】 ❖ Natural gemstones may have inherent characteristics such as clouds, patterns, inclusions, or black spots. There may also be minor imperfections from drilling or polishing during processing. ❖ The natural stones used in the creations are mostly semi-precious stones.
