This is a bracelet connected with Shan Carnelian, Ancient Agate, Old Chin Silver & Orissa Brass, Emerald Blue & White beads, and more.
The oval orange beads are Carnelian used by the Shan people (Myanmar).
While the exact age is unknown, it is a vintage piece over 50 years old.
These are small Carnelian beads with beautiful banding.
(Vintage Carnelian size: 1cm height, 0.6cm diameter)
Adorned with small, white, bun-shaped Ancient Agate beads. These were excavated from the Indus River basin, spanning regions like Pakistan and India, and are approximately 2000 years old. They are small and charming, yet exhibit beautiful banding.
The emerald blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads. The origin of Indo-Pacific beads is said to be the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are excavated items from Indonesia and are an astonishing 1000 years old, dating back to around the 10th century!
The white beads are old beads from India.
Their worn texture offers a unique charm, a testament to being worn for many years. (Circa 19th-20th century)
Although they have been cleaned, the darker areas may gradually wear off with use, revealing more white.
We hope you enjoy their aging process. (Bead size: 3-4mm)
The amber-colored beads near the clasp are White Hearts, and the orange beads are antique Venetian beads.
The vase-shaped silver beads sandwiching the Shan Carnelian are Old Chin Silver, dating from the 18th-19th century. These were brought from Burma.
They were used by Chin women in necklaces and other adornments, showing unique wear and endearing scratches. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though some modern pieces are also cool...). These beads are truly rare and quite expensive!
The golden beads and anchor-like charm are Old Orissa Brass, old and rare beads from the Orissa region of India.
The beads forming the loop are Karen Silver.
The small Karen Silver beads on the clasp are individually stamped!
It's mind-boggling to think that all this is done by hand...
