· Shibori Dyed Purple Polka Dot Vintage Haori
· "Shibori" is a special dyeing technique used in Japanese kimonos and haori. Its intricate craftsmanship creates a raised, three-dimensional texture in the dyed areas.
· When the entire fabric surface is treated with the shibori technique, it's called "Sōshibori" (all-over shibori), which is the most labor-intensive and time-consuming method. During production, the fabric is roughly sectioned for the pattern. The parts intended for shibori are tied using special techniques, while the untied sections are dyed with the base color. Afterward, the tied sections are hand-colored or dyed again...
· This piece is perfectly preserved and in like-new condition; it features a hidden pocket on the front side.
