Variations in the thickness of the split grass and the strength of the weaver's hand result in different levels of fineness in the finished products. Based on traditional grading, and incorporating the finest current standards, our woven rush items are categorized into four grades based on their fineness: Coarse Weave (Classic), Medium Weave, Fine Weave, and Exquisite Weave. Weave density is measured per "tai cun" (1 tai cun = 3.03 cm), where one row consists of the crossing of the upper and lower strands. Keep Dry Please keep the product dry and avoid storing it in boxes or damp spaces for extended periods. If the item will not be used for a while, ensure it is dry before storing it in a sealed bag. 2. Bask in the Sun Occasionally Exposing rush grass items to sunlight releases their natural fragrance. When the scent fades, it's time for another sunbath! 3. Wipe Clean, Do Not Soak To clean the product, use a damp cloth. Mild neutral detergent can also be used for wiping. Never soak the item in water. 4. Soft Brush for Mold If the item encounters moisture and develops mold, gently brush away the mold with a soft bristle brush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
