[ Bag Material / Functionality ] Crafted from "Chromexcel" (CXL), a renowned leather from the century-old Horween Leather Company in Chicago, USA. CXL is one of the tannery's most popular and longest-standing leathers, chosen by many well-known shoe and bag brands. It was even used by the U.S. military for equipment during WWII. The tanning process involves nearly a hundred steps, including immersion in a mixture of oils and waxes, followed by heating. This allows the mixture to deeply penetrate the leather, imparting its unique texture and durability, which contributes to its exceptional feel and suppleness. CXL leather is rich in oils, offering a captivating evolution of color and patina over time. Its saturated hues and light-reflective qualities create a truly distinctive material. With each use, the bag develops its own unique character, like a personal signature, allowing the owner to express themselves through their cherished item.
