Victorian Rosewood and Brass Inlaid Document Box (Circa 1860–1880) This is a piece I personally adore. The deep grain of the rosewood gleams with an oily luster under the light, while the brass embellishments are characteristic of the Gothic Revival style. Hand-cut and secured with rivets, the meticulous craftsmanship of 19th-century artisans is evident in every corner. Inside, a soft, satin beige lining reveals a three-compartment design, originally intended for letters, envelopes, or documents. It can also stand alone as an elegant display piece; its presence is enough to transform any space. The box retains its original lock and key, with a complete structure and smooth opening and closing mechanism.
