So fragile, yet so full of excitement. 【Main Stone Introduction】 • Larimar, also known as Stefilia's Stone, is currently only produced in the Dominican Republic, with extremely limited output. It is considered a national treasure of the Dominican Republic. In ancient times, indigenous peoples living near the Caribbean Sea referred to this mineral as the "Stone of Atlantis," believed to be a relic from the legendary lost empire of Atlantis. The name Larimar was given by the geologists who discovered it, combining the name of their daughter, Larissa, with the Spanish word "Mar" (meaning sea), signifying "unparalleled blue." It is a copper-bearing pectolite, found in the fissures of volcanic rock, making it difficult to discover, and large rough stones are exceptionally rare. True to its name, this gemstone possesses a blue hue reminiscent of the ocean, sometimes appearing blue-green. Its most distinctive feature is the white, wave-like patterns, said to resemble sea foam. It is believed that the energy of Larimar can heal the heart, bringing emotional calm, stability, and a sense of expansiveness. ∆ Gemstone crystals possess their own subtle energy fields.
