The Light of My Life: Magical Herb & Crystal Scented Candle 70g/$350 | Approx. 10 hours burn time This is a candle I've always wanted to create, but never rushed into. It took a long time to finally bring it to fruition, as I wanted to approach it with a calm and focused mind. Actually, "The Light of My Life" isn't its full name. It's preceded by "To"—"To, The Light of My Life." Yes, I wanted to craft a candle of gratitude, to express my sincerest, warmest appreciation for the benefactors in my life. I deeply understand the concept of a "benefactor." My journey has been full of ups and downs, often feeling like I was trapped in a dark swamp, overwhelmed by helplessness, anxiety, fear, and self-doubt. This cycle of repeated hurt can be exhausting. Then, a person or an event might appear, parting the dark clouds and walking towards you with unwavering resolve. A glimmer of light shines from behind them, growing brighter, filled with warmth, kindness, and support, helping you navigate a difficult period. Years later, looking back, you clearly recognize them as the benefactors in your life. They could be family, friends, colleagues, business partners, clients, neighbors, or even strangers. Some may still be by your side, while others may have drifted away. Yet, you feel a warm sense of gratitude and blessing whenever you encounter the sentiment: "Having experienced hardship yourself, you always wish to shield others from the rain." Benefactors are undefinable. It could be a snippet of conversation overheard from a fellow passenger on the subway, a discourteous driver blocking your path, or even a quarreling couple that sparks your curiosity. Throughout life, benefactors who can change your destiny can appear at any moment, provided you are willing to see and experience them. By approaching people and events from different perspectives, they all become your benefactors. And when you choose to feel and see, you become your own most important benefactor! These three candles hold significant meaning for Rose Tree.
