Through a unique weaving process, canvas, which typically has a stiff and heavy image, is transformed into a lightweight and soft 100% cotton bag. We have carefully and meticulously crafted each bag with the desire to "long accompany each individual's life." It subtly supports your daily life and, with long-term use, will evolve into a unique item that is uniquely yours. --------Things you should know-------- *V.D.L.C. fabric, woven on shuttle looms rather than mass-production machines, is characterized by its "lightness," "softness," and a relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As it is woven on shuttle looms in Kurashiki that are over 100 years old, there are inevitably small "weaving flaws" that may appear as "frays" at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful cutting of the fabric. If found, we also strive to use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them completely. We hope you will appreciate these weaving flaws as a mark of the authentic process using old shuttle looms and embrace them as part of the bag's charm.
