It is mentioned in very limited historical records from the Minnan and Hakka regions, typically used as festive decorations. The headdresses worn by brides were often masterpieces of this coiled embroidery technique. ▶ Care As the primary material is thread, this piece is sensitive to direct sunlight (which can cause fading) and water. It is best stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If it comes into contact with water, gently pat it dry immediately.
