This is a small vessel, designed for repeated use in daily life.
Crafted from serpentine stone sourced from Hualien, Taiwan, its simple circular proportions and recessed design offer dual functionality for both serving and storage. The moderate size makes it a natural fit for various scenarios, whether used as a sauce dish, a small side dish bowl, or for organizing small items on your desk.
The stone itself possesses a stable weight and a refined texture, ensuring it stays put during use and contributing to an overall sense of groundedness. The unique deep green hue and natural veining of serpentine stone exhibit subtle shifts under different lighting conditions. Each piece boasts its own distinctive pattern, offering a quietly layered presence in your everyday life.
Beyond the dining table, it's also well-suited for placement on a desk or entryway table, perfect for holding accessories, keys, paper clips, and other small treasures. Its simple form allows it to effortlessly transition between different settings, eliminating the need for specialized purposes.
On the dining table, it's a vessel that carries flavor; in life, it's a container that holds details. The relationship between material and use is preserved in its most elemental form.
Allowing your small everyday items a quiet, stable place.
Dimensions: 8 x 8 x 4 cm

Green "Serpentine Stone" — While not as renowned as white stones, nor a staple in the high-fashion circles of the stone world, it's often relegated to being a backup for Italian Carrara white, and is also the most common and easily imitated stone pattern. It isn't as serene and grand as black stone, nor as approachable as grey stone. However, **green serpentine stone is the stone that truly lives out its own color: with its large white patterns, it appears wild and unrestrained; with black veins, it seems elegant and mature; even surfaces with the most evenly distributed patterns exhibit a unique temperament, an uncopyable pride.**
Due to its physical properties being similar to marble, serpentine stone is commercially categorized as marble. The serpentine stone produced in eastern Taiwan, known for its superior quality, was once highly sought after worldwide and primarily exported. This structurally complex and unique stone has gradually faded from prominence in Taiwan. Apart from the older generation, modern individuals rarely have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Taiwan's green marble. This is something I find quite regrettable. Therefore, I am dedicated to helping serpentine stone shed its image of being "known only to elders," using simple, natural methods to capture the attention of younger audiences and garner more appreciation and recognition for this special, unique Taiwanese stone.

- Serpentine stone (also known as jade-veined stone): A marble from Hualien, Taiwan, containing various mineral crystals with diverse colors and textures, ranging from light green to deep dark green.
- VERDE's flat products are NEVER lacquered! We only polish the stone to maintain its luster while ensuring it is natural and safe for food contact. Please use it with confidence as a food plate.
- Marble is generally perceived as hard, but it actually has a fragile interior. Collisions or drops can cause cracks, so please handle with care.
- Marble surfaces have microscopic pores that "breathe," so dark liquids (e.g., red wine, coffee) can be absorbed! If spilled, wipe dry immediately.
- VERDE's original intention is for the natural beauty of marble to be cherished. Therefore, if you cannot accept patterns that are "not custom-made," please do not place an order.
- If you receive a severely damaged item during shipping, please retain the packaging and contact us immediately for a replacement of the same item. Claims made more than seven days after receipt will not be processed.
- If you have any questions during use, please feel free to contact us via Facebook or Instagram. We will respond as soon as possible.
