The matte heart character ceramic vessel has a layer of glaze on the back, which acts as a barrier between the essential oils and your clothing or skin while you enjoy its diffusion. The glossy heart lettering has an unglazed back, but the finished piece is highly lustrous, with a hue that shifts from green to a touch of brown. Due to its handmade nature, each vessel will have unique characteristics, differing slightly from machine-made items. Please feel free to send a message if you have any questions! *Matte heart characters, glaze on the back *Glossy heart lettering, unglazed on the back The piece is first fired at 800°C (bisque firing), followed by a glaze firing at 1230°C. Finally, it's returned to the kiln for a separate firing of liquid gold glaze at 700°C to complete. This miniature diffuser ceramic house is glazed on four sides, with one side intentionally left unglazed to facilitate the absorption of scented liquids. Its small size makes both the crafting and glazing processes delicate endeavors, with the gold accents meticulously outlined using the finest brushes. You can use a small syringe to slowly infuse your preferred essential oils through the opening, directing the tip along the inner wall of the hole. It is recommended to add a small amount, around 0.02-4ml. As the ceramic is porous, it absorbs the scent. Coupled with the diffusion hole that enhances evaporation, the aroma will be more intense than from typical glass bottles. The essential oil inside will fully evaporate within a few hours to a couple of days, depending on the weather. Once the internal oil has completely evaporated, the entire piece will continue to emit a subtle fragrance for several weeks, varying with the viscosity of the scented product. Each piece is purely handmade and will not possess the flawlessness of machine-cut items! Every creation will exhibit subtle differences and will not be identical, resulting in a necklace with a wonderfully tactile quality!
