Da Mao Ceramics - Drawing Course Drawing is a pottery technique with a long history. The clay is placed on a constantly rotating machine, and through centrifugal force and the interaction between the hands and the clay, the artist creates a body that he recognizes. We will invite you every Thursday to temporarily put aside your daily worries on the constantly rotating windlass, and focus on the soil in your hands to produce unique works and add a little something new to your life. ＊Anyone aged 7 or above can sign up for the trial course＊ ＊If you need cultural currency discount, please send a private message to get the discount code first!!＊ 🌟 Course content and time/Small class size ４ Full class size 🌟Experience course (The experience course will produce 1-2 daily utensils) In the preliminary drawing experience course, the teacher will lead everyone to experience the introduction of clay from the beginning, the use of the windlass, the centering method, to the stage of drawing and forming. In the end, 1-2 works will be produced. Teaching content: The teacher teaches for about 30 minutes, and the rest of the time is for the students to actually operate the machine. This is a small class teaching of four people, and the teacher will be beside the students to assist and guide. *The course fee includes the cost of firing 2 works. If other works are to be fired, you need to pay the firing fee (length x width x height x 0.2 kiln fee) 🌟4 consecutive basic drawing courses (consecutive courses will produce 4-8 pieces of daily life utensils) Week 1 - Drawing instructions, centering exercises, straight tube heightening exercises (making small teacups) Week 2 - Centering exercises, heightening and widening exercises (mug/soup cup/bowl making) Week 3 - Centering exercises, stretching exercises (making deep dish/wide mouth pots) Week 4 - Arrange the work, practice editing, take over the handles and decoration, and the work is completed *The course fee includes the cost of firing 8 works. In response to the epidemic, we wear masks at all times! 🌟Firing and pickup The firing time of the work is 45 working days (about 7 weeks). Everyone will be notified to pick it up when the firing is completed, and the works will be retained for 90 days. If students cannot collect it within the time limit, they can pay the shipping fee and ask the classroom to assist with home delivery. 🌟How to ask for leave Students who successfully register can change the time or practice space for 3 hours, and no refunds will be given. Please inform your request for leave three days before the course. 🌟Epidemic prevention reminder In order to cooperate with the government's epidemic prevention and safety, students are reminded that if they have relevant respiratory symptoms (cold, cough, sore throat, etc.) or have been exposed to suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients, they should report and manage their own health and avoid coming to pinch pot. If your body temperature exceeds 37.5 degrees or you have respiratory symptoms on the day or one week before the class, please rest at home or seek medical attention immediately. The course fee can be used to make up for other experience classes (no refunds will be made). Tables, chairs and other public areas have been disinfected on site in advance, so please come with peace of mind. Before class, a real-name registration system will be adopted, forehead temperature will be measured and hand alcohol disinfection will be carried out. Classes are all in close contact, and teachers wear masks throughout the teaching process. Students are also asked to wear masks at all times.
