Bracelet with Old Tibetan Turquoise, Mizoram Carnelian, Ancient Agate, Old Orissa Brass, and Grape-Colored White Hearts

This bracelet is crafted by connecting old Tibetan turquoise, Mizoram carnelian, ancient agate, old Orissa brass, and grape-colored white hearts. The old Tibetan turquoise dates back approximately 100 to 200 years, possibly even older. It was acquired from an individual who sourced it directly in Tibet. Turquoise is often referred to as a "Fallen Skystone" and has been revered as a sacred stone across various cultures since antiquity. In Tibet, it has even been used medicinally, making it one of the stones passed down and worn for millennia. These particular turquoise stones are slightly rugged and petite, possessing a cool aesthetic. (Turquoise dimensions: Width 0.9cm, Height 0.6cm, Thickness 0.55cm) The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, transmission pieces from around the 18th century originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India. Their uneven coloration lends them a wonderfully expressive quality. To complement the grape-colored beads and old Tibetan turquoise, we've selected pieces with a subdued hue. Despite minor imperfections inherent to their age, these carnelians possess a truly captivating presence. Ancient agate beads with white striations have been incorporated. These were unearthed in regions like Pakistan and India, along the Indus River basin, and are approximately 2,000 years old. The purple and deep red beads are antique beads known as White Hearts. They are named for the white core visible when the bead is broken. These are Venetian beads from around the 19th to 20th centuries. A mix of grape-like colors and deep reds are featured. While White Hearts are commonly red, this particular purple hue is quite rare. The golden beads are old Orissa brass, rare and antique beads from the Orissa state of India. The spherical charm near the clasp also originates from India, crafted from old brass. The gently curved clasp and ring are made of Karen silver. Each tiny Karen silver bead is meticulously hand-engraved, a process that inspires awe. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe residing in Thailand and Burma. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to be of exceptionally high purity. The bracelet is strung on waxed cord, which may feel slightly stiff initially but will soften beautifully with wear.
