And minimalism in details, in turn, emphasizes and preserves the beauty of nature. We make it by hand from an across-the-grain slab of elm burl tree. Burls are WOW! Their natural lines are simply striking and fall in love at first sight. Such slabs are extremely rare, because in nature there is only 1 burly per 10,000 ordinary ones. Each cut is unique and unrepeatable. The natural shape of the edge emphasizes the naturalness of natural materials. All cracks are filled with safe epoxy resin. Quality German mechanism with silent movement. Coated with Osmo oil: the wood remains as natural to the touch as possible. And yet the surface is perfectly protected and easy to restore. Production time is on average about 7-14 working days, depending on the workload of our workshop and the availability of selected materials. As these are handmade products made of natural wood, each one is unique in its own way. Texture, shades, shape of each product may differ from the sample on the photo. Also, in the process of drying (and we use only specially dried wood) inevitably cracks (small and larger). We carefully fill all of them with a safe epoxy resin. This makes the surface smooth and the piece beautiful and finished.
