Led by designer Jiro Kawamoto, CANDY DESIGN&WORKS, a jewelry brand founded in Kobe in 2010, has attracted attention for its reinterpretation of vintage gadgets from the 1920s and 1930s. The brand name comes from the famous album of legendary American jazz trumpeter Edward Lee Morgan. The designer, who is also the jewelry developer for multiple brands, is fond of all kinds of vintage ornaments, accessories and daily necessities. He combines original designs with improved structures to launch a variety of small items. His unique creativity that combines heritage, practicality and details is impressive.
