It wasn't until we became the owners of Loopy! that we realized art should be about bringing yourself joy! We've even captured the subtle shading, giving it a truly three-dimensional feel! During a break from our business, we rented a car and drove to a more rural area. This time, our adventure took us to a place called 'Hira'. We stumbled upon it on a map and decided to check it out. In Hira, we discovered a beautiful settlement, a harmonious blend of natural woodlands and charming houses! It was truly a model community, incredibly beautiful and serene. What's more, the community was dotted with lovely little shops! It seems this place doesn't attract many tourists; as we wandered through, we hardly saw anyone. Magically, while exploring this beautiful community and having lunch, we ended up having wonderful conversations with the owners of every shop we visited! It's strange, isn't it? Our languages weren't perfectly aligned. The owner of a small pottery shop had recently moved there, acquiring this wonderful house, complete with a pizza oven left by the previous owner. The chef at the small eatery under the trees was quite intrigued by our Loopy! clothing. The proprietress of the outdoor goods shop had studied Mandarin, and she was delighted it came in handy at that moment! After saying goodbye to this charming town, we spent another two days exploring Kobe. The owners of a rustic café on a hillside chatted with us too, and we exchanged Instagram handles! At a curry restaurant serving wild vegetables for dinner, the owner was incredibly energetic and diligently jotted down the Mandarin phrases we taught him in his notebook! This short trip unexpectedly led to us laughing and chatting with so many strangers we'd never met before! The people we encounter on our journeys are always the brightest highlights. Thankfully, at that time, we chose to open our hearts and laugh wholeheartedly instead of being shy. We may never meet again, but we will always remember these wonderful moments! Thinking about it, the Loopy! shop serves a similar purpose. We often have customers who are traveling, and if fate allows, we open our hearts and chat together.
