Embroidered patches are commonly known as embroidery patches, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery pieces. However, most embroidered fabric patches require ironing to adhere properly, allowing them to decorate fabric materials or cover holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches have adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth surfaces like water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's get creative and make your items unique! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple: ▪️ Smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ Fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely for a secure bond. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure it stays firmly attached! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure if the fabric can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're uncertain about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to avoid damaging your fabric with high heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive strength. They are unlikely to detach from general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron it on and reinforce with sewing for increased durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches detach if washed? Once ironed on and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily coming off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We suggest confirming the placement before sticking. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric can still be sewn onto fabric items for decoration! 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the embroidered patch? Our embroidered patches have strong adhesion, and some residue may remain after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive removers. Before using any remover, please check if your item's surface material is suitable to avoid damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue; the adhesive backing will melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
