Four colors of yarn were dyed, giving birth to kapuwa's first all-over stripe pattern. The color palette was chosen to be warm and slightly retro. Uses wool-nylon yarn. It's lighter than 100% wool, with a slightly fluffy texture that adds warmth. This is a hand-knitted piece by artisans from the Newar, a ethnic group indigenous to the mountainous regions of Nepal. Hand-knitted slowly and with plenty of air incorporated, these knits are characterized by a uniquely textured, loosely woven surface.
