Atelier Llewellyn's first one-on-one private lesson on sewing (machine) basics was born~ Since we started offering basic hand sewing courses, many students have asked about other courses. Courses on using sewing machines have always been popular. Since the designer is also the principal and the bell-maker, one person has limited time to handle all matters, and the development and preparation of a class also requires repeated deliberation, demonstration and modification, such as the control of class time, whether the difficulty of arranging the objects to be made is appropriate, etc. Etc., although Atelier Llewellyn does not specialize in teaching, he has a picky style of doing things and hopes to offer courses that he really likes and that can be helpful to students. Through the learning process of the course, everyone can realize that the clothing industry is not as glamorous and beautiful as the outside world imagines. If a piece of clothing or cloth products is completed, if you want it to be done well, why is the price so high? The effort and hidden costs required can be understood through personal experience. Our purpose remains the same: we hope that students can understand the birth of a piece of clothing through practical operations, and then intelligently choose to buy clothing with better texture, meticulous workmanship, and can last for a long time, thereby reducing excessive fast fashion consumption and reducing waste. This introductory single-class course is for students who have no experience with sewing machines but are interested in a preliminary understanding. They will complete a small project in class and learn the basic principles and use of sewing machines, as well as basic fabric ironing. This course only applies straight line sewing and is a very introductory sewing machine operation. The instructor will also demonstrate and assist.
