"Twilight" depicts Mitsuha Miyamizu and Taki Tachibana meeting at the same location at dusk, three years apart, across time and space. "Comet Fall" captures the scene of them both witnessing a comet fall simultaneously, Mitsuha in Itomori Town and Taki in Tokyo.
