We value its relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are unavoidable "weaving imperfections," which may appear as if they are "frayed" at first glance. While these are inherent to using vintage machinery and cannot be entirely prevented, we make every effort through thorough factory inspections, careful fabric cutting to avoid them as much as possible, and by using them in inconspicuous areas if found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, they cannot be completely eliminated. We hope you will appreciate these weaving imperfections as a mark of the craftsmanship from old shuttle looms and embrace them as part of the bag's character.
