The head circumference, patterns, and decorative band styles can all be discussed and tailored to your needs. **Measuring Your Head Circumference** Whether you're choosing a hat for yourself or as a gift, selecting the right size is crucial. If you're unsure of your head circumference, here's how to measure it: Find a measuring tape or a non-stretchy string/ribbon. Starting above your eyebrows at the forehead, wrap it around your head where a hat would naturally sit. Don't pull too tight; wrap it comfortably, as you'd like the hat to fit. Since Si Cyuan hats can be tightened by about 2-3cm using the Velcro inside the sweatband, measure at a comfortable or slightly loose circumference. During production, molds are used to stabilize the product's size and shape. For this hat model, our mold head circumference sizes are 56cm, 58cm, and 60cm. If your head circumference is 57cm, please choose the 58cm size. **Patterns** This weaving technique has a long history, previously used for hats and bags, adding variety and carrying different meanings. In recent years, weavers have also created new patterns. The 镂空 (hollowed-out) pattern in the photos is "Plum Blossom." We also offer "Diamond" and "Wavy" patterns. Sorting | Graded by length and trimmed of excess tips. Selecting | Grass strands are selected for uniform thickness before weaving. Trimming | Unfinished leaf parts are removed from the grass heads. Beating | The structure of the grass is broken down to soften it for weaving. For finer items, two additional steps are involved: "Splitting the grass" (dividing the triangular rush strands into two or three thinner sections) and "Kneading the grass" (rubbing to remove white fibers from within the grass). **|| A Little Story About Taiwanese Rush ||** Rush becomes smoother and shinier with time, friction, and absorption of oils. Its dark, lustrous black-gold color is highly sought after by many.
