[Shino Glaze Series] Mouse Shino Gilded Teapot | Capacity: approx. 130cc - ถ้วย - ดินเผา

รายละเอียดสินค้า

Featuring a unique Shino glaze and reduction firing, this piece subtly mellows tea, creating a smoother, sweeter flavor profile that elevates your tasting experience. The compact design is perfect for solitary tea sessions or intimate gatherings, allowing you to savor the aroma and enjoy a tranquil moment. The glaze used is Shino glaze, which originated in Mino, Japan, and is a white glaze primarily made from feldspar. yuhuayuart applies this custom Shino glaze to the ceramic, resulting in a soft, warm, and richly layered finish after firing. Mouse Shino is created by applying an iron-bearing slip to the body before the Shino glaze. After firing, the work reveals subtle fiery hues that blend with natural glaze transformations to produce a warm gray tone (Mouse Shino). The Shino glaze on the interior wall comes into direct contact with the tea, softening the water quality and mellowing the tea's texture, producing a distinct "soft water feel" that enhances the aroma and sweetness of the tea. The smooth glazed interior will naturally develop fine cracks over time as it comes into contact with tea, forming a "gold thread and iron wire" crackle pattern. With daily use, tea pigments will gradually seep into these lines; the crackle pattern becomes visible after about one month, and after two to three months, the coloration becomes more prominent, creating a tea-stained patina unique to you. Each piece is fired at 1260 degrees Celsius in a reduction atmosphere, allowing the glaze to flow and blend naturally through kiln transformation. These effects are born from the interaction of fire and glaze, making every surface finish one-of-a-kind. The final touch is a hand-painted gilding process using 24K liquid gold (real gold), followed by kiln baking. The golden luster is warm and understated, shimmering gracefully in the light. yuhuayuart's works are dedicated to those who cherish detail and quality in life, turning every tea session into more than just a simple routine, but a continuation of enjoyment and refined taste. Purchase Notice 1. Every piece from yuhuayuart is purely handmade by the artist, yuhuayuart, making each item unique—this is the very charm of handmade ceramics. 2. Each piece is one-of-a-kind; once sold, there are no identical duplicates. If a piece you admire has already been sold, please feel free to send a private message to inquire about similar styles. 3. During the firing process, the glaze naturally flows and distributes, and fine crackles may form due to temperature changes; these are characteristic features of kiln-fired ceramics. If you have any questions about a piece, please feel free to send a private message. 4. All works are photographed in a studio to present their original colors as accurately as possible. Please rely on the actual physical product for the final color representation; color variations are not considered defects. Care Instructions | Gilded Works Please wipe the gold layer gently with a soft cloth. Avoid using scouring pads or hard-bristled brushes, and do not soak in cleaning agents for extended periods. Do not place in a microwave (as the metal may produce sparks) or a dishwasher to prevent the gold layer from wearing away or peeling. Artist | yuhuayuart Born in 1980, he was deeply fascinated by hand-thrown pottery during junior high school. After completing his military service, he moved alone to Yingge and studied under mentors Wu Guo-Rong and Wu Jian-Cai, dedicating over twenty years to ceramic art. He has developed the Yao-Bian Shino, Rock Mineral, and Purple Clay Cloud series, and has successfully recreated the firing techniques of Song Dynasty celadon. Creative Philosophy yuhuayuart focuses on kiln transformation, believing that every work is a collaborative creation between the potter and the user across time and space. Each crack and layer of color grows richer with the user's daily life, becoming an object of the "beauty of utility"; making tea preparation more than a simple act, but a continuation of pleasure and taste.
