Fort Standard is a New York contemporary design studio founded by Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings. The two friends combined timeless materials with modern manufacturing processes in a progressive design method to achieve a beautiful common vision. They developed a unique formal language based on simplicity and functionality, and their attention to detail, relationship and materiality, through design, generates value in the aesthetics described by Buntain and Collings as "warm contemporary".
