As ceramic ware is used, fine lines resembling cracks may gradually appear on the surface.
 This is known as crazing (kannyu) and occurs naturally due to the properties of ceramics. It happens when the clay body and glaze have different expansion and contraction rates, causing them to interact and develop fine lines with temperature changes.
