【Samantabhadra Bodhisattva】
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva represents virtuous conduct and the power of action, symbolizing unchanging truth. Corresponding to Manjushri Bodhisattva, who embodies wisdom, they both serve as the left and right attendants to Shakyamuni Buddha. Samantabhadra guides actions with wisdom; actions demonstrate wisdom. He is also known by the world as "Samantabhadra Bodhisattva of Great Practice." Mahayana scriptures state: "A bodhisattva cannot achieve complete Buddhahood without practicing the Samantabhadra path." This implies that all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the Pure Land must pass through the Samantabhadra path to become Buddhas, just as everyone in the real world must build their ideal selves through the power of "practice."
China has twelve zodiac animals, originally used for denoting years, in the order of Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. Each zodiac animal has its own guardian Buddha, and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is the guardian Buddha for those born in the Year of the Dragon and the Year of the Snake.
Bodhi ▲ Merit Dedication
In Buddhist culture, Bodhi symbolizes enlightenment and wisdom.
Buddha Shakyamuni attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, thus the term "Bodhi" carries connotations of inspiration and awakening.
In traditional belief, Bodhi seeds are often used as prayer beads and ritual objects, symbolizing spiritual practice, blessings, and focused mindfulness.
Many choose to wear Bodhi seed accessories as a cultural symbol for wishing peace and enhancing inner tranquility.
With prolonged wear, the surface of the Bodhi seed gradually develops a natural luster,
revealing the owner's marks of use and the patina of time.
【Small-leaf Sandalwood】
Due to its deep and refined color, Small-leaf Sandalwood is often regarded as a precious wood in traditional culture.
Its wood is fine and its grain is elegant, commonly used for Buddhist beads and artisanal products, symbolizing stability and understated elegance.
Over time and with usage, the wood gradually forms a warm patina, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood.
【Lotus】
✾ Integrity and Purity
The lotus, homophonous with "integrity" in Chinese, symbolizes "one grade of purity and incorruptibility," signifying holding high office without corruption and being just and honest. This was how common people praised upright officials in the past.
✾ Purity and Beauty
The purity and sanctity of the lotus flower represent beautiful friendship and love. The lotus is the only plant in the flower kingdom that uniquely bears fruit and seeds simultaneously. Also known as "twin lotuses," it is an omen of longevity and abundant harvests, and a symbol of pure love.
✾ Untainted by Mud
The lotus is a sacred object in Buddhism. Legend has it that Shakyamuni Buddha was born seated on a lotus flower, and after his Nirvana, he left behind two things: the lotus and the lion. Therefore, the lotus is revered as a "sacred object" in Buddhism. The lotus "emerges from the mud unstained, and is washed by clear ripples without being alluring," which aligns perfectly with the "Pure Land" spoken of in Buddhism, a place for cleansing the soul. The growth process of the lotus represents an individual's journey of removing selfish desires and practicing from this shore to the other shore to achieve Buddhahood.

💎 missla Jewelry | Jadeite Culture and Shopping Guide
"A person nurtures jade for three years, and jade nurtures a person for a lifetime."
Ancient people considered wearing jade a mark of beauty, often saying, "Gold has a price, but jade is priceless."
Formed naturally over time, the gentle luster and delicate texture of jadeite
make it a symbol of virtue and auspiciousness in Eastern culture.
With time and different wearing habits, jadeite exhibits a unique character and glow that belongs to each owner,
hence it is often seen as a cultural symbol accompanying one through life's journey.
Jadeite, hidden within the rough stone, exudes a serene and gentle aura.
It is subtle, profound, and enduring, not just an adornment, but a symbol of sincere blessings.
In folk culture, different patterns and carvings each carry distinct meanings,
symbolizing peace, fulfillment, prosperity, and smooth sailing in life. Understanding their cultural significance before gifting
allows the "intent to reach the object," making the blessing more heartfelt and warm.
There is also a folk saying about women wearing jade: "Wearing jade before marriage fosters good connections, and wearing jade after marriage brings fulfillment."
This shares traditional cultural meanings.
