Preheat your iron (a hair straightener can also work). 2. Place the patch on your desired item—bags, clothing, or towels are ideal (cotton and canvas work best). 3. Cover the patch with a thin towel or cloth. 4. Press down with the iron for 20-30 seconds. 5. Before it cools, press along the edges through the towel to ensure better adhesion between the fabric and the patch. 6.
