★ Brand Sabrina Hsieh, driven by a lifelong passion for art and fashion, graduated from the Department of Fashion Design at Shih Chien University, where her final collection earned her the "Fashion Design Newcomer Award." She also interned at JASON WU in New York, focusing on fabric research and design. Sabrina Hsieh established her eponymous independent brand in 2017 and has since presented collections biannually at Shanghai Fashion Week. In 2018, she was invited to debut her collection on the Shanghai Fashion Week stage for the first time. In 2019, she was selected by VOGUE Taiwan to participate in the VOGUE FASHION NIGHT OUT show at Taipei Fashion Week. The brand's unique, novel, yet fashion-forward design ethos has led to its establishment, with several points of sale now in London, Tokyo, China, and Taiwan. ★ Design Concept The SABRINA HSIEH AW19 collection, "Grotesque Youth," draws inspiration from the 80s black comedy film *Heathers*. It utilizes the vibrant and colorful prints of the 80s to convey the sweet innocence of young boys and girls, alongside their explosive, intertwined emotions and anxieties. ★ Product Details The Plaid Mohair Blazer won the "Best Pattern Utilization Award" at the 2019 Taipei TOP Fashion Design Awards. This piece features a design focused on a woman's sharp, tailored silhouette, with an extremely cinched waist and a bold, statement shoulder pad design, showcasing a woman's blend of strength and grace.
