Once moisture seeps into the ashes, it is irreversible; please be mindful! To open the lid, firmly grasp the 'body' of the urn. When lifting or handling the urn, always grip the 'body' and not just the lid, to prevent the contents' weight from causing the lid to detach and the urn to fall and break!
