Each leaf is unique and tied with real cotton string. This wrapping style is inspired by authentic zongzi. The cotton string is coated with protective varnish, giving it a slightly firm texture, but it doesn't detract from the visual appeal. Handle with care to avoid forceful pulling. The zongzi is fully assembled; do not attempt to disassemble to prevent damage. (The filling is made from a different type of clay.) Due to the intricate crafting process and high failure rate, along with extended drying times, restocks will be scheduled. Schedule updates will be announced on Instagram or Facebook.
