Fireworks Haworthia is a succulent from the Asphodelaceae family, Haworthia genus, native to South Africa, often found growing near rocks. It thrives in partial shade. Its leaves are round and full, slightly longer than typical Cooperi, with transparent leaf windows featuring stunning textures, beautifully blooming like fireworks! It's incredibly captivating and beautiful, making you want to look at it repeatedly! Caring for it is also quite manageable; the basic conditions for growing succulents include appropriate sunlight, a well-draining potting mix, and good ventilation. | Sunlight | A light-loving plant, it should generally be placed in a bright location away from direct sunlight. Insufficient light can cause the plant to become leggy and reduce the translucency of its leaves. Avoid strong direct sunlight in summer, as excessive light can impair the window's transparency and even cause leaf scorching, leading to blemishes. Provide adequate shade, with bright, diffused light being ideal. In winter, it can receive ample sunlight. Under suitable light conditions, Fireworks Haworthia exhibits distinctly transparent leaf windows, with leaves that are full, tender, and exude a hydrated appearance! | Watering | Water thoroughly until water drains from the pot's bottom, and water again when the soil is dry. In summer, due to the hot and humid weather, control the amount of water to prevent rot. Spring and autumn are the growing seasons for Asphodelaceae. It's best to water after the soil has dried out, approximately once a week. During the high temperatures of summer, the plant enters a semi-dormant or dormant state, so water must be carefully controlled. Reduce the amount of water or lengthen the watering intervals, watering about once every two weeks. If the soil is too moist, it is prone to fungal infections and rot. In winter, place it indoors with sunlight and avoid overwatering; light misting of the soil is sufficient. Adequate sunlight and moisture can make the leaves appear fuller. | Summer & Winter Care | Asphodelaceae plants enter dormancy in summer due to high temperatures. Growth slows or stops, and the lower leaves gradually dry out. The soil should be kept relatively dry during this period, with only a small amount of water occasionally poured around the pot's edge once a month, avoiding direct contact with the center of the plant. Due to the high temperatures, root rot and core rot are common. Therefore, only provide enough water to support the slow growth of the root system; do not withhold water entirely, as this can prolong the time it takes for the dormant plant to awaken. In winter, it is recommended to protect the plant with a glass cover, keeping the soil slightly moist and watering sparingly each month. During this time, the plant will be more humid due to the indoor warmth, and daylight will increase the temperature, resulting in exceptionally delicate, plump, and beautiful leaves!
